Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and high-performing Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive lead generation and pipeline growth for our IT/SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and working closely with Account Executives to close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect target accounts across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments
Execute high-volume outbound campaigns (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach)
Handle inbound leads and convert them into qualified opportunities
Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand technical and business needs
Qualify leads using frameworks like BANT / MEDDIC
Schedule and coordinate product demos and sales meetings with Account Executives
Maintain and manage pipeline data in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM)
Collaborate with Marketing for campaign execution and feedback
Work closely with Pre-Sales/Solution Engineers for technical alignment
Mentor junior SDRs and share best practices
Track performance metrics and consistently meet/exceed targets
Required Skills
Strong experience in IT/SaaS sales or business development
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders (CTOs, CIOs, Founders)
Strong objection-handling and closing mindset at early sales stages
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Self-driven with a results-oriented approach
Technical Skills
Proficiency in CRM tools: Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho CRM
Experience with sales engagement tools: ERP / Oracle
Solid understanding of:
SaaS products and subscription models
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
APIs, integrations, and enterprise IT environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or related field
0–3 years of experience in IT/SaaS sales, SDR, or Business Development roles
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified leads (SQLs) generated
Meetings/demos scheduled with decision-makers
Conversion rate (MQL → SQL → Opportunity)
Pipeline value contribution
Revenue influenced
