Location:
Job Objective Responsible for developing, implementing and improving Safety at ICD & Logistics Locations by driving OHS strategies, policies and procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
· Plan and execute Logistics HSE programs designed to promote Safety.
· Train employees, verify program implementation and evaluate effectiveness.
· Such programs shall include Project Safety, road, rail and warehouse safety, fire safety, life safety, chemical safety, logistics safety, hazardous materials transport and storage management, hygiene, accident and injury prevention, environmental compliance, emergency response, risk management and loss control.
· Develop/Educate on safety awareness through continuous programs for employees and contractual employees.
· Function effectively as a coordinator to implement safe work at height activities, structural stability, lifting plan and heavy vehicle management.
Operational Responsibilities
· Execute and ensure adequate investigation, reporting, and analysis of accidents/major incidents to prevent recurrence.
· Review all minor and major incidents (including fatalities) and ensure corrective actions.
· Coordinate emergency response teams and conduct emergency and spill response exercises.
· Monitor HSEF legal requirements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry standards.
· Eliminate risks in logistics and warehouse operations using recognized loss prevention and control techniques.
People Management
· Direct/Supervise Operations, Projects and Maintenance Safety as well as Fire Services.
· Ensure continuous training and development of all employees for improved safety performance and growth.
Key Interactions
Internal: Site Operations Team; Projects Team; Group Safety Team
External: Pollution Department; Local Government Agencies and Vendors
Educational Qualification:
· B.E. / B. Tech Engineering.
Experience:
· Minimum 6 Years of Experience in the field of Safety pertaining to Logistics Operations.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
