Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Dispatch Executive to manage the day-to-day dispatch operations, coordination with internal teams, transporters, and customers, and ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatch activities based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents such as invoices, delivery challans, packing lists, gate passes, and other required documents.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse, Stores, Sales, Merchandising, Accounts, and Logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Verify the quantity, style, size, colour, packing, and other details before dispatch.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for vehicle arrangements and timely delivery.
- Ensure goods are properly packed, labelled, and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward shipments.
- Update dispatch details in Excel / ERP / internal systems on a daily basis.
- Track dispatched shipments and follow up with transporters regarding delivery status.
- Handle dispatch-related issues, shortages, damages, delays, and discrepancies and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company dispatch procedures.
- Coordinate with the security team for vehicle entry, loading, gate passes, and outward movement of goods.
- Maintain daily dispatch reports and submit them to the reporting manager.
- Ensure proper handover of goods and documents to transporters.
- Support stock reconciliation and investigate dispatch-related discrepancies.
- Follow company SOPs and safety procedures during loading and dispatch activities.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of dispatch, warehouse, logistics, and transportation processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.
- Problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Experience in the garment / textile / export industry will be an advantage.
Qualification
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse, or garment industry.
Preferred Candidate
The ideal candidate should be responsible, proactive, disciplined, and capable of coordinating multiple dispatch activities simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
