About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Secondary Coordinator to lead the academic and operational activities of the Secondary Section (Grades IX–X). The ideal candidate will work closely with the Principal to ensure academic excellence, effective curriculum delivery, board examination readiness, teacher development, and student success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the academic and administrative activities of Grades IX–X.
- Ensure timely curriculum implementation and syllabus completion in accordance with the academic calendar.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, and assessment practices.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student academic performance and board examination results.
- Plan and coordinate periodic assessments, pre-board examinations, revision schedules, and remedial programmes.
- Analyze student performance data and prepare action plans for continuous improvement.
- Mentor teachers on effective instructional practices, classroom management, and assessment techniques.
- Organize academic enrichment programmes, subject exhibitions, competitions, and career awareness activities.
- Coordinate parent-teacher meetings and maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, CBSE guidelines, examination procedures, and child safety standards.
- Prepare academic reports, documentation, and performance reviews for the Principal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Master's degree in a relevant subject is preferred.
- 5–10 years of teaching experience in Secondary classes, with at least 2 years in an academic leadership role.
- Experience in CBSE or other recognized school boards is preferred.
