Vishwa Bharati Shiksha Sadan is inviting applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated educators for the position of TGT Social Science Teacher to teach Classes IX & X (CBSE).
The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make Social Science engaging through interactive and activity-based teaching methods. The teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in accordance with the latest CBSE curriculum and preparing students for Board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics to Classes IX & X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, map skills, and current affairs awareness.
- Conduct regular class tests, periodic assessments, and revision sessions.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Integrate ICT tools, smart boards, presentations, videos, and other teaching aids into classroom instruction.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
- Participate in PTMs, school events, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student progress reports.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong understanding of the latest CBSE curriculum, competency-based education, and assessment pattern.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
