Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Café Chef to oversee food preparation and kitchen operations in our café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality café-style dishes, maintaining food safety standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and delivering an excellent dining experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve café menu items such as sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pasta, pizzas, salads, breakfast dishes, and light snacks.
- Prepare beverages and basic desserts when required.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and kitchen supplies, and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Minimize food wastage through proper storage, FIFO practices, and portion control.
- Assist in planning seasonal or special café menu items.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served within the required time during busy service hours.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of café cuisine and food preparation techniques.
- Experience in preparing continental and fast-casual dishes.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

- Creativity in food presentation and menu development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
- Food Safety/HACCP certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as a Café Chef, Commis Chef, or Cook in a café, restaurant, or hotel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
