Management Trainee – Warehouse & Client Operations

About the Role
This Management Trainee position is designed for freshers and early-career professionals who want hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, inventory management, WMS systems, client coordination, MIS reporting, and operational monitoring.
You will work closely with warehouse teams, supervisors, transport partners, and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while developing into future warehouse operations leaders and supply chain professionals.
Note: This is a warehouse-based operations role and not a desk-only office position.
Key Responsibilities : Warehouse Operations Monitoring
- Monitor inbound, outbound, inventory movement, order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns activities.
- Ensure warehouse operations follow SOPs and client requirements.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, DEOs, transport teams, and operations staff.
- Track daily operational performance and escalate delays or process gaps.
Inventory & WMS Coordination
- Support inventory accuracy and stock visibility.
- Monitor scanning, binning, stock updates, serial number tracking, and inventory movements.
- Coordinate with WMS and data-entry teams to ensure timely and accurate updates.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, stock mismatches, and ageing inventory.
Client Coordination & Communication
- Act as a bridge between warehouse operations, management, and client-facing teams.
- Communicate professionally through emails and calls.
- Prepare operational updates, dispatch reports, inventory status reports, and escalation summaries.
- Coordinate with international clients and stakeholders when required.
MIS Reporting & Follow-Up
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track order status, inventory discrepancies, dispatch performance, and pending activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting discipline.
- Support management with accurate data analysis and operational summaries.
Process Improvement & Escalation
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Escalate stock discrepancies, process deviations, documentation issues, and operational risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
Learning & Development
- Participate in training on warehouse operations, inventory management, WMS systems, transport coordination, and client SOPs.
- Develop leadership, communication, and operational management skills.
- Build a strong foundation for future roles in warehouse management and supply chain operations.
