We are looking for a QA / Software Tester who thinks like a business user first and a technologist second. You don't need to be a developer. You need to understand how businesses operate, spot when a workflow doesn't make sense, and use modern AI tools to test faster, smarter, and more thoroughly than traditional manual testing allows.
What matters most for this role:
Business understanding over deep coding skills. We value someone who grasps why a feature exists and how a customer will use it — and who can leverage AI testing tools to validate that quickly. Knowing how an ERP or business application is supposed to behave is far more important to us than knowing how it was built.
What You'll Do
- Test our SaaS products from the perspective of the end business user — verifying that workflows, data, and outcomes make sense for the people who'll actually use them.
- Design and execute functional, regression, and exploratory test cases based on business requirements and real-world usage scenarios.
- Use AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases, accelerate test coverage, detect anomalies, and document defects efficiently.
- Validate business logic across modules — billing, invoicing, GST/tax handling, role permissions, reporting, and end-to-end process flows.
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with developers, product, and documentation teams until issues are resolved.
- Review product behaviour against documentation and flag gaps between what the product does and what the business needs it to do.
- Contribute to building and maintaining a reusable library of test cases and quality checklists across products.
What We're Looking For (Essential)
- Strong business and process understanding — you can look at a feature and judge whether it fits how a real organisation works.
- Hands-on comfort with AI tools for testing (e.g. AI test-case generation, AI-assisted exploratory testing, AI defect-analysis, or similar). You actively use AI to work faster.
- A sharp eye for detail and the instinct to ask “would this confuse or block a real user?”
- Clear written and verbal communication — able to write defect reports anyone can follow.
- Logical, structured thinking and a methodical approach to verifying workflows end to end.
- Willingness to learn our products deeply and become a domain expert across the portfolio.
Adds Extra Points
These are not mandatory — but candidates who bring them will stand out:
+ Prior experience testing ERP systems or large business applications (CRM, accounting, HRMS, inventory, etc.).
+ Familiarity with business domains such as accounting, GST/billing compliance, restaurant operations, clinic management, or HR processes.
+ Exposure to common test-management or bug-tracking tools (Jira, TestRail, or similar).
+ Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or how SaaS applications are structured — helpful, but secondary to business knowledge.
+ Experience writing or reviewing product documentation and user guides.
