Production Planning & Control
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timeline
- Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost reduction
Process & Technical Management
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes
- Analyze production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure proper machine setup, operation, and maintenance coordination
Quality Assurance
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
- Implement quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with the quality team to resolve defects and non-conformities
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination
- Monitor equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
- Recommend upgrades or replacement of machinery and tools
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and statutory regulations
- Promote a safe working environment and conduct safety training
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other industry standards
Resource & Team Management
- Manage manpower allocation and shop-floor supervision
- Train operators and technicians on processes and safety practices
- Improve productivity through skill development and motivation
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare production reports, efficiency analysis, and downtime records
- Maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs
- Support audits and regulatory inspections
Continuous Improvement
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives
- Reduce waste, rework, and operational costs
- Drive innovation and process optimization
