Job Summary
The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will be responsible for creating impactful visual content across both static and video formats. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, video editing techniques, motion graphics, and storytelling to produce engaging content for social media, marketing campaigns, and brand communications.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design engaging social media creatives, advertisements, banners, presentations, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
- Develop creative concepts aligned with marketing campaigns and brand guidelines.
- Create visually appealing layouts while maintaining consistency across all brand assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing, content, and creative teams to execute campaign ideas.
- Manage multiple design projects from concept to final delivery within deadlines.
Video Editing
- Edit YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and other digital content.
- Transform raw footage into engaging videos using smooth transitions, motion graphics, captions, animations, and visual effects.
- Perform color correction, color grading, audio syncing, sound design, and video optimization.
- Create high-retention, fast-paced content optimized for social media platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, AI-powered editing tools, and platform-specific content formats.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency Canva for quick marketing creatives.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Lightroom.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and kinetic typography.
- Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual communication skills.
- Experience editing Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, commercial advertisements, and other digital content.
- Knowledge of color correction, color grading, audio syncing, and sound design.
- Organized file management and project workflow.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication, collaboration, creativity, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Graphic Design and/or Video Editing.
- Freshers with an exceptional portfolio and relevant educational background are encouraged to apply.
- Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working with creative agencies, marketing teams, or brands is an advantage.
- Understanding of current social media trends and content formats.
- Basic knowledge of AI-powered creative and video editing tools is a plus.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates must submit a portfolio or showreel showcasing their work, including:
- Social media creatives
- Brand identity or marketing designs
- Motion graphics and animations
- Video editing projects (Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, advertisements, etc.)
