Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically sound Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day construction activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project is executed according to structural drawings, within the set budget, and according to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage site labor effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Supervision: Interpret architectural and structural drawings to guide site work accurately.
- Site Management: Oversee daily construction activities, including excavation, reinforcement (BBS), shuttering, and concreting.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications and IS codes.
- Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), site diaries, and material consumption records.
- Labor Coordination: Manage site supervisors and labor contractors to ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict health and safety (EHS) protocols to maintain a zero-accident workspace.
- Quantity Surveying: Help in calculating material requirements and verifying bills from subcontractors.
Requirements
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 0-1 of experience.
- Software: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Kannur, Bangalore.
