About the Role
Solto Innovations and Aviation Private Limited is seeking a proactive and results-driven Team Leader – Manufacturing & Supplier Coordination to oversee manufacturing operations, supplier coordination, production planning, and assembly activities. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth production flow, timely material availability, high-quality output, and on-time project delivery while leading the manufacturing team.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Track purchase orders, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Follow up on supplier commitments and resolve delivery delays.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding material availability and production requirements.
Manufacturing & Assembly Operations
- Supervise daily manufacturing and assembly activities.
- Ensure production is carried out according to quality and process standards.
- Monitor workflow and resolve day-to-day shop floor issues.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower and resources.
Production Planning & Execution
- Prepare and execute daily and weekly production plans.
- Monitor production progress and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure production targets and delivery commitments are achieved.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with the Design, Purchase, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Coordinate engineering changes and production priorities.
- Support timely resolution of production-related issues.
Team Leadership
- Lead, guide, and motivate the manufacturing team.
- Allocate work and monitor task completion.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and adherence to company procedures.
- Train team members on best manufacturing practices and safety.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and workflow.
- Monitor production reports, supplier follow-up records, and action plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce delays and improve quality.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or supplier coordination.
- Experience in supervising shop floor operations and handling teams.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and solve operational issues effectively.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
