The DAV Group - Chennai, was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram in Chennai with just 50 students. The Group today, caters to over 40,000 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. In this context, we are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated PGT Commerce Teacher to handle Commece for Classes 11 and 12 at G.B. Public School. The candidate should be capable of delivering engaging lessons, strengthening conceptual understanding, and guiding students towards academic excellence.
Educational Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Commerce or related subject
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Prior teaching experience in senior secondary classes is preferred
Job Description
- Teach Commerce for Classes 11 and 12
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials
- Develop students’ conceptual understanding through interactive teaching methods
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance
- Prepare students for board examinations and related assessments
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and parent interactions
- Follow school policies and academic guidelines effectively
Salary shall commensurate with experience.
