About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern to support our Finance team in managing financial records, reporting, budgeting, and business analysis activities. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in corporate finance, accounting processes, financial planning, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct financial research and data analysis to support business decisions.
- Reconcile financial transactions and verify account balances.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support audit and compliance activities by organizing required documents.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare presentations and reports for management review.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of financial statements and ratio analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Knowledge of GST, taxation, or financial compliance processes is advantageous.
