Job Summary
The MDF Laser Cutting Machine Programmer will be responsible for preparing cutting programs, optimizing material utilization, operating and supporting laser cutting machines, and ensuring timely production with minimum material wastage. The role requires proficiency in Vector Software-CorelDRAW/ Adobe Illustrator and Laser Programming Software- RD Works / Laser CAD software, along with a sound understanding of MDF material and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Programming
· Prepare cutting programs using CorelDRAW/ Laser CAD/ Adobe Illustrator and compatible laser machine software.
· Convert customer designs into machine-ready files.
· Optimize nesting to maximize MDF sheet utilization and minimize scrap.
· Maintain a library of approved cutting files.
Production Support
· Coordinate with the production team for daily cutting schedules.
· Set machine parameters based on MDF thickness and job requirements.
· Conduct trial cuts before mass production.
· Ensure dimensional accuracy and cutting quality.
Machine Operation & Coordination
· Support operators in loading programs and troubleshooting minor programming issues.
· Coordinate with maintenance for machine calibration and preventive maintenance.
· Monitor machine performance and suggest process improvements.
Quality Control
· Verify finished products against approved drawings.
· Ensure cutting accuracy and edge quality.
· Reduce rejection and rework through proper programming.
Documentation
· Maintain records of cutting programs, production data, and material consumption.
· Prepare daily production and material utilization reports.
· Update revision-controlled design files.
Safety & Housekeeping
· Follow all safety procedures related to laser cutting operations.
· Ensure proper housekeeping around the machine.
· Comply with company quality and safety standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
