JOB OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Field Sales & Collection Executive to manage and expand our retail market presence across Tamil Nadu. This is an outstation field role. You will travel to major textile hubs across different cities in Tamil Nadu via public transport (trains/buses) to visit retail shops, showcase samples, secure bulk orders, and collect outstanding payments/cheques from parties. Owning a two-wheeler is not mandatory for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Inter-City Travel: Travel regularly across various cities and textile hubs within Tamil Nadu (e.g., Erode, Salem, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruppur) to service our dealer network.
* Order Generation: Pitch Arvind Mills product catalogs, showcase fabric samples, and secure bulk orders from textile retail shop owners.
* Payment & Ledger Collection: Follow up diligently with parties to collect outstanding dues, payments, and cheques on time, ensuring safe handling of financial collections.
* Relationship Management: Act as the primary face of our 50-year-old firm, maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with retail shop owners.
* Market Reporting: Provide daily digital updates to the management team regarding order books, collection targets achieved, and competitor market trends.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
* High Mobility: Must be fully willing and comfortable traveling frequently between different cities across Tamil Nadu.
* Language Skills: Complete fluency in speaking and negotiating in Tamil is mandatory to effectively deal with retail shop owners.
* Experience: Prior experience as a field sales executive, outstation sales representative, or collection agent in Textiles, Apparel, FMCG, or Retail Distribution is highly preferred.
* Core Skills: Strong persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Integrity: High level of honesty, reliability, and responsibility while handling financial collections.
