Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join a high-impact reporting migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL Server, Snowflake, and dbt, with expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines supporting SSRS and Power BI reporting.
This is a 5-month remote contract offering the opportunity to work on a large-scale data migration initiative in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines supporting SSRS and Power BI reports.
- Develop and maintain dbt models for data transformation.
- Work with SQL Server and Snowflake to manage reporting data.
- Support report developers with data access, schema design, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure data consistency between legacy and migrated reporting systems.
- Optimize SQL queries and improve data pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during migration activities.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server.
- Experience working with Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool).
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience in data modeling and database design.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting BI or reporting migration projects.
- Familiarity with SSRS and Power BI Tabular.
- Knowledge of reporting databases and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
