Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in .NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API, Azure Services, and SQL Server to build scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs, Azure Functions, Entity Framework Core, and Azure cloud services while following clean architecture and best coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Develop scalable backend services using .NET 8 and C#.
- Build and maintain Azure Functions for background processing and event-driven workflows.
- Optimize Entity Framework Core queries and SQL performance.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Azure AD / Entra ID.
- Integrate applications with third-party systems such as Workday, Kronos, and other enterprise platforms.
- Implement structured logging using Azure Application Insights.
- Manage secrets and configurations using Azure Key Vault.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills
- 4–7 years of backend development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 / C#.
- Expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
- Strong SQL Server knowledge (queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Important Notes
- Candidates must have strong hands-on .NET and Azure development experience.
- Experience limited to Node.js/GraphQL or primarily Angular frontend development will not be considered.
- Azure experience should include Azure Key Vault, Azure Application Insights, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Azure Functions—not just application deployment.
