Job Summary
We are seeking a PMO – Operations professional to support strategic initiatives, operational governance, business performance tracking, and process improvement within the Global Markets Operations function. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to Banking Operations/Global Markets Operations, with experience in project coordination, governance, MIS reporting, and stakeholder management. This is an operations-focused PMO role and does not involve IT project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational projects and business transformation initiatives across Global Markets Operations.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and operational milestones to ensure successful execution.
- Prepare and maintain governance reports, MIS dashboards, scorecards, and management presentations.
- Track project status, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring timely resolution.
- Coordinate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business teams to drive project execution.
- Conduct data analysis to identify operational trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain project documentation, SOPs, process maps, and governance records.
- Support process optimization, productivity initiatives, and operational excellence programs.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), and follow up on action items.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Experience in PMO within Banking Operations or Global Markets Operations.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets Operations, Trade Operations, Middle Office, Settlements, Treasury Operations, or Investment Banking Operations.
- Excellent experience in MIS reporting, dashboards, KPI/KRI tracking, and operational reporting.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred) and PowerPoint.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple operational initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management is an added advantage.
- Experience in BFSI/Global Markets Operations environment is highly preferred.
