Job Summary
The Boiler Desk Engineer is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing boiler operations from the control room to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted power plant performance. The role involves maintaining operational parameters, coordinating with field operators, troubleshooting process abnormalities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control boiler parameters through DCS/SCADA systems.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the CFBC boiler.
- Coordinate with field operators for operational activities and troubleshooting.
- Monitor steam generation, combustion efficiency, fuel consumption, and emissions.
- Identify process deviations and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain operational logs, shift reports, and performance records.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns and shutdowns.
- Participate in start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling activities.
- Optimize boiler performance to achieve operational targets.
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) / Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
Experience
- DME with minimum 5 years of experience in power plant boiler operations.
- BE with minimum 3 years of experience in boiler operations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Boiler First Class Certificate and/or BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer) Certification.
- NPTI certification will be an added advantage.
- Experience in CFBC boiler operations preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
