Position Overview
As a Factory Machine Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain specialized machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. You will monitor machine performance, conduct routine safety and quality checks, and troubleshoot minor operational issues to ensure continuous production flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Calibrate, program, and operate factory equipment and automated production machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Quality Assurance: Inspect raw materials and finished products using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Production Monitoring: Continuously monitor machine output, material feeds, and cycle times to prevent jams, defects, or downtime.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting; escalate complex technical issues to maintenance technicians.
- Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines and safely unload finished products, stocking them for packaging or further processing.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to company safety policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and OSHA regulations.
- Record Keeping: Complete daily production logs, machine maintenance records, and defect reports accurately in system logs or paper forms.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
