Job Summary
The House of Makeba is looking for a dedicated and responsible Kitchen Supervisor Cum Picker to oversee kitchen inventory, supervise order picking activities, ensure accurate dispatch of food and raw materials, and maintain operational efficiency within the kitchen and store area. The candidate will play a key role in inventory control, stock handling, order preparation, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen picking and stock movement activities.
- Pick and prepare ingredients, raw materials, and supplies as per production requirements.
- Ensure accurate quantity and quality of items picked and issued.
- Coordinate with kitchen, store, and procurement teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Conduct daily stock verification and maintain inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and FIFO (First In First Out) practices.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in storage areas.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing incoming stock.
- Supervise support staff involved in picking and inventory handling.
- Prepare stock reports and consumption records as required.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Store Management, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in kitchen operations, inventory management, warehouse, or store supervision.
- Experience in the hospitality or food service industry will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
