Job Title: Production Supervisor – Diploma Mechanical Engineering Job Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role involves supervising production staff, coordinating with engineering and quality teams, and optimizing mechanical processes to achieve operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the mechanical manufacturing unit Ensure production schedules, targets, and deadlines are achieved efficiently Monitor machine performance, workflow, and manpower utilization Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies Identify and resolve production issues related to mechanical processes, equipment, or materials Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Train, guide, and evaluate production staff to enhance skills and performance Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation Collaborate with planning, quality control, and engineering departments Qualifications & Skills diploma in Mechanical Engineering Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical processes, machines, and production techniques Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications Familiarity with safety standards, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles Basic computer skills (MS Office, production reporting systems) Experience Fresher
