Job Summary
Asahi India Glass Ltd. (AIS) is looking for a dynamic PPC Executive to support production planning and coordination activities at our Nashik facility. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, optimal capacity utilization, inventory control, and on-time customer deliveries through close coordination with production, maintenance, sales, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare and monitor production plans based on customer demand and business requirements.
- Support production budgeting and capacity planning activities.
- Optimize resource utilization to achieve production targets.
- Monitor production performance against planned schedules.
Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics teams for seamless operations.
- Support implementation of new models, engineering changes (ECN), and process improvements.
- Align production schedules with maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Ensure timely communication of production priorities and changes.
Inventory & Logistics Management
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock availability.
- Ensure proper warehousing practices and FIFO (First In, First Out) compliance.
- Track pallet management and material movement within the plant.
- Coordinate dispatch requirements to support customer delivery schedules.
Systems & Team Development
- Maintain and update PPC-related data in ERP/Oracle systems.
- Generate production and inventory reports for management review.
- Support manpower development initiatives and skill enhancement programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.

Qualifications
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, or related functions.
- Fresh candidates with relevant knowledge and strong learning ability may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of inventory management and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP/Oracle systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
