ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a senior, high-ownership infrastructure role for an engineer who has deep hands-on experience with HPE dHCI, VMware, HPC clusters, and object storage at enterprise scale. You will be solely responsible for the health, performance, and availability of our private cloud and HPC environments working directly with the IT architecture and operations teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimise the HPE dHCI private cloud infrastructure — provisioning, patching, capacity, and health monitoring
- Administer VMware environments vSphere, vCenter, ESXi hosts, vSAN, DRS, HA, and VM lifecycle
- Operate and maintain HPC cluster environments job scheduling, node management, workload performance, and storage integration
- Administer object storage platforms bucket management, data policies, access controls, and capacity planning
- Manage Windows Server environments and Active Directory — GPO, DNS, DHCP, user/group administration
- Monitor infrastructure health proactively; respond to incidents and implement root-cause fixes
- Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, firmware updates, and hardware refresh cycles
- Maintain comprehensive documentation runbooks, architecture diagrams, and change records
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 10+ years overall IT experience with 7+ years in enterprise infrastructure management
- Hands-on HPE dHCI experience deployment, configuration, SimpliVity/Nimble integration, and support
- Deep VMware expertise vSphere 7/8, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX basics, and VM performance tuning
- Proven HPC environment management cluster nodes, MPI workloads, Slurm/PBS, parallel file systems
- Object storage administration S3-compatible platforms (HPE Scality, Ceph, or equivalent)
- Strong Windows Server and Active Directory skills multi-domain, GPO design, replication, and hardening
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with HPE OneView, iLO, or Synergy for hardware lifecycle management
- Familiarity with backup solutions Veeam, Commvault, or HPE StoreOnce
- Exposure to network fundamentals VLANs, LACP, iSCSI, or NFS storage networking
- Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident, change, and capacity management
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
