About the Role
ICFAI Business School is looking for an energetic, target-oriented, and passionate Marketing Officer to promote MBA admissions, build relationships with colleges, generate student leads, and achieve admission targets through field marketing and counselling activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit degree colleges, coaching centres, and educational institutions to promote the MBA program.
- Conduct seminars, presentations, career guidance sessions, and admission awareness programs.
- Generate quality student databases through field activities and institutional networking.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding MBA programs, eligibility, admissions, scholarships, and career opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective students through telephone, email, WhatsApp, and face-to-face meetings.
- Achieve monthly application sales and admission conversion targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Principals, Placement Officers (TPOs), HODs, and faculty members.
- Plan and execute BTL marketing activities, educational fairs, roadshows, and campus campaigns.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/MIS on a daily basis.
- Collect market intelligence and competitor information.
- Coordinate with the admissions team for smooth application processing and enrollment.
- Generate referrals through existing students, alumni, and educational partners.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports to the reporting manager.
Eligibility
- Any Undergraduate Degree (UG) with minimum 60% marks.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome.
- Candidates with experience in admissions, education marketing, sales, or business development will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong convincing and counselling skills.
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby locations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Age: Up to 30 years (Preferred)
- Positive attitude with a passion for sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of MBA admissions or the higher education sector is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English and Tamil is mandatory. Knowledge of Telugu or Hindi is an added advantage.
