We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce high-quality video content that enhances FOY's brand presence across digital platforms. If you're passionate about storytelling through video and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Role Overview
The Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, product promotions, employer branding, and corporate communications. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and understands the latest trends across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and other digital channels.
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Develop reels, promotional videos, advertisements, corporate videos, event highlights, and employer branding content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Brand, Product, and Content teams to conceptualize and execute creative video campaigns.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, animations, sound effects, subtitles, and visual effects to enhance content quality.
- Ensure all videos align with FOY's brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Optimize videos for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
- Manage video assets, project files, and content libraries efficiently.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, social media trends, AI-powered editing tools, and emerging creative technologies.
- Work within deadlines while maintaining high creative and production standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Film, Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content, marketing videos, advertisements, and creative storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with motion graphics, kinetic typography, and basic animation.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, color correction, sound design, and storytelling.
- Knowledge of social media content formats and platform best practices.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Basic knowledge of videography, lighting, and camera operations.
- Experience using AI-powered editing tools such as Adobe Firefly, Runway, Descript, or CapCut.
- Experience working with consumer brands, startups, beauty, lifestyle, or e-commerce companies.
