Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movement.
- Issue materials only against duly approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
- Maintain stock registers, bin cards, and inventory records in physical and digital formats.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, labeling, and preservation of materials.
- Prevent material damage, pilferage, theft, and wastage through effective store management.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Site Engineering, Accounts, and Project teams for smooth material flow.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, and equipment issued to site personnel.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock consumption reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures within the store.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma holder (any discipline preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in commercial building projects will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction materials, hardware, electrical, plumbing, and finishing items.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and inventory management software/ERP.
- Understanding of stock control, inventory reconciliation, and documentation.
- Good organizational, record-keeping, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
- Knowledge of material coding, inventory audits, and site logistics.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
