JOB SUMMARY
SANSU AUTOMOTIVES PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Engineer to handle the overall electrical and mechanical maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.
The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance planning for equipment used in die casting and automobile component manufacturing operations.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in electrical furnaces, die casting machines, compressors, generators, pumps, motors, electrical panels, wiring, cabling and other factory utilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular Preventive Maintenance (PM/PMT) of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Attend and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns with minimum machine downtime.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical furnaces and heating systems.
- Handle maintenance of die casting machines and related auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain motors, pumps, compressors, generators, panels, sensors, contactors, relays and control systems.
- Inspect and maintain factory wiring, cabling, electrical panels and distribution systems from a safety and reliability perspective.
- Plan and execute new factory electrical wiring and cabling activities.
- Handle basic mechanical breakdowns, machine components and utility equipment.
- Coordinate with Production and Tool Room teams during machine breakdowns and maintenance activities.
- Maintain adequate spare parts, maintenance tools and critical components.
- Maintain all maintenance records, breakdown reports, PM schedules and machine history cards.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with electrical safety and factory safety requirements.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with external service providers/vendors for specialized maintenance work when required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience in Die Casting / Automobile / Engineering Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical furnaces, compressors, generators, motors, panels, wiring and cabling.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently.
- Good understanding of industrial electrical and machine safety.
- Candidates who are practical, hardworking and willing to work on the shop floor are preferred.
