Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and driven .NET Developer Intern to join our engineering team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience building scalable applications, working closely with senior developers, and learning how a modern software development lifecycle operates in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Development: Assist in writing clean, scalable, and maintainable C# code under the guidance of senior team members.
- API Integration: Help build and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Database Management: Write basic SQL queries, stored procedures, and work with Entity Framework for data storage.
- Testing & Debugging: Write unit tests and help identify, track, and fix bugs in existing systems.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions to understand agile workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Core Concepts: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Technical Familiarity:
- Basic knowledge of C# and the .NET / .NET Core ecosystem.
- Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server or MySQL.
- Basic understanding of web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Version Control: Basic familiarity with Git/GitHub or GitLab.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, a strong desire to learn new technologies, and good communication skills.
Good to Have (Bonus)
- A portfolio of academic or personal projects built using .NET.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Blazor.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
