Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
- Generate Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain purchase records.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, delivery schedules, and payment follow-ups.
- Compare rates and negotiate pricing for cost-effective purchasing.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Maintain vendor database and develop new suppliers.
- Coordinate with Production, Store, and Accounts departments.
- Monitor stock levels and plan purchases accordingly.
- Ensure purchased materials meet required quality standards.
- Prepare MIS reports related to purchase and inventory.
- Follow company SOPs and procurement policies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of FMCG purchase processes
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
- Understanding of inventory and stock management
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of GST and purchase documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software
Qualification
- Graduate in any stream
- Diploma or certification in Supply Chain / Material Management will be preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidate must have minimum 2–4 years of experience in FMCG industry only.
- Experience in food, cosmetics, personal care, or consumer goods manufacturing preferred.
- Immediate joiner preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹37,504.27 per month
