A Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, and packing cookies, millet based cookies, baked mathri, baked namakpara, etc. They ensure high-quality standards, maintain kitchen safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake sweet and savory cookies, biscuits
- Develop and test new recipes
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order baking supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours
Education (optional but preferred):
- Culinary arts diploma or pastry certification
- Apprenticeship training in a bakery or hotel kitchen
Pay: ₹15,070.74 - ₹30,785.48 per month
