**Job Summary:**
The HVAC Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality, comfort, and efficiency within the facility. The role involves technical expertise in HVAC systems, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with other maintenance and engineering teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and develop HVAC systems based on building requirements and specifications.
- Install, commission, and test HVAC equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of existing HVAC systems and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and control HVAC system performance, energy consumption, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and keep detailed records of repairs and servicing.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors during new construction or renovation projects.
- Maintain inventory of HVAC parts, tools, and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC certification, EPA certification) are preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of building management systems and energy management.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
