1 Billing and Quantity Surveying
- Conduct billing and quantity surveying for the allocated construction sites.
- Prepare client bills as per instructions from the Project Engineer.
- Measure completed work and prepare bills detailing the work completed and corresponding amounts.
- For any extra work not included in the BOQ, measure the work, calculate the quantity and amount, prepare the bill, get approval from the GM, and submit it to the Project Engineer.
2 Quotations and Measurements
- Prepare quotations for new work when requested.
- Measure quantities using AutoCAD drawings, prepare lists in Excel, create abstracts, print, bind, and submit to clients after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Upload measurements on the railway's online portal for billing purposes.
3 Billing Process Management
- Collect and verify required tax documents, e-invoices, and other billing-related documents, and upload them on the portal.
- Prepare site billing every 15 days, ensuring it is a continuous process.
- Monthly, submit to the Regional Office (RO) and Head Office (HO) a statement of bills submitted to the client for the current month and upcoming month (Work Done Value Statement).
4 Material Testing and Record Keeping
- Coordinate with third-party entities for material testing and maintain records of these tests.
- Prepare letters for project extensions, bank guarantees, and closing bank guarantees.
5 Project Planning and Scheduling
- Analyse structural and architectural drawings to plan required materials and raise Material Requisitions (MR).
- Schedule project timelines including monthly, weekly, and daily plans for each work segment and overall project duration.
- Plan manpower requirements for the project.
- Review completed work, backlogs, and adjust schedules, materials, and manpower as needed to ensure timely completion of pending work.
6 Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Meet with clients monthly to address any concerns, clear doubts, and inquire about any additional drawing requirements.
- Reevaluate the project planning schedule every three months to ensure adherence to the schedule and make necessary adjustments.
- Weekly, assess the labour outturn, prepare labour bills, and send them to the RO.
7 Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in quantity surveying and billing operations.
- Regularly review and update billing procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
