*Job Summary*
We are seeking an energetic, articulate, and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Telugu to teach Middle School students (Classes VI to VIII). The ideal candidate should possess excellent command over the Telugu language, strong pedagogical skills aligned with the NCERT/CBSE curriculum, and the ability to inspire students to develop proficiency in Telugu language, literature, grammar, and communication.
*Key Responsibilities*
1. Academic & Classroom Delivery
- Teach Telugu Language and Literature to Classes VI, VII, and VIII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Design engaging and interactive lesson plans focusing on language development, grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Integrate activity-based learning, storytelling, digital tools, and smart classroom technologies to make Telugu learning enjoyable and meaningful.
- Develop students' vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, handwriting, and creative writing skills.
- Encourage appreciation for Telugu literature, poetry, culture, and heritage through innovative teaching practices.
2. Assessment & Student Evaluation
- Prepare periodic tests, assignments, worksheets, projects, and term examinations as per CBSE assessment patterns.
- Conduct continuous and comprehensive assessments to monitor students' academic progress.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on written work, reading, and oral presentations.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and implement remedial teaching strategies.
3. Classroom Management & Student Mentorship
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Serve as a Class Teacher (if assigned) and mentor students in their academic, personal, and social development.
- Encourage participation in Telugu literary activities such as storytelling, poetry recitation, essay writing, debates, speeches, skits, and cultural competitions.
- Foster confidence and effective communication skills in students through classroom discussions and interactive activities.
4. Co-Curricular & School Activities
- Organize and support Telugu literary clubs, language competitions, cultural celebrations, and school assemblies.
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, annual functions, and inter-school competitions.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate cross-curricular learning experiences.
5. Parent & School Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding students' academic performance and overall development.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans, attendance, and assessment documentation.
*Educational Qualifications*
- Master's Degree: M.A. in Telugu from a recognized university (Mandatory).
- Professional Qualification: B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from an NCTE-recognized institution with Telugu as a teaching methodology (Mandatory).
*Work Experience*
Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience teaching Telugu to Middle School students (Classes VI–X) in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school.
Experience in preparing students for Telugu language activities, literary competitions, and CBSE assessments will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
