The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, and compliance with electrical safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in machinery, panels, motors, and utility systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of lighting systems, power distribution panels, and electrical circuits.
- Monitor electrical equipment performance and report abnormalities.
Equipment & Utility Support
- Maintain electrical components of kitchen equipment, motors, pumps, compressors, RO plants, DG sets, and other utilities.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to operations.
Preventive Maintenance
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities as per maintenance plans.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work performed.
- Assist in reducing equipment breakdowns through proactive maintenance practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, equipment checklists, and service records.
- Report recurring issues and recommend corrective measures.
- Record spare parts usage and inform the Maintenance In-Charge of requirements.
Housekeeping
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of electrical rooms, panels, and maintenance areas.
- Safely store tools, instruments, and electrical materials.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (if applicable as per local regulations).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, food processing, or large kitchen operations.
- Experience in maintenance of motors, panels, generators, and utility equipment is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, and motor systems.
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
