Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase cum Logistics Executive to handle end-to-end procurement, domestic and international logistics, import-export operations, vendor coordination, and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage complete procurement activities from purchase requisition to order closure.
* Source vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, negotiate prices, and issue Purchase Orders.
* Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Coordinate domestic and international shipments with transporters, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs clearing agents.
* Handle import-export documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, and Bill of Entry.
* Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with applicable procedures.
* Coordinate with banks for foreign remittances, advance payments, and import-export documentation.
* Track shipments and maintain procurement and logistics records.
* Coordinate with Stores, Production, Finance, and Project teams for material requirements and inventory planning.
Required Skills & Experience
* 4–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, and Logistics.
* Hands-on experience in Import-Export procedures and documentation.
* Knowledge of International Logistics, Customs Clearance, and Banking Documentation.
* Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Import-Export Management will be an added advantage.
Preferred Industry: Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, Industrial Equipment, Oil & Gas, Instrumentation, Telemetry, or related industries.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
