Job Summary
The Inline QC Executive is responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality during the production process of leather bags and wallets. The role ensures that manufacturing standards, workmanship, and customer specifications are maintained at every stage to minimize defects and rework.

Key Responsibilities
1. Inline Inspection & Monitoring
Conduct quality checks during cutting, skiving, stitching, assembling, and finishing stages.
Ensure adherence to approved samples, specifications, and quality standards.
Identify defects early and take corrective action with production teams.
2. Material & Workmanship Control
Inspect leather quality, colour matching, thickness, and surface defects before production use.
Monitor workmanship including stitching quality, edge finishing, alignment, and hardware fitting.
Verify measurements, logo placement, and branding accuracy.
3. Defect Identification & Reporting
Record defects and maintain inline inspection reports.
Highlight recurring issues and communicate with supervisors for root cause analysis.
Ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
4. Coordination with Production Team
Work closely with line supervisors, sampling department, and production managers.
Provide on-the-spot guidance to operators to maintain quality standards.
Support production team in reducing rejection and rework.
5. Compliance & Standards
Ensure compliance with buyer quality requirements and company SOPs.
Follow safety and quality compliance norms during inspections.
6. Final Pre-Dispatch Support
Assist final QC team for random inspections before packing.
Ensure approved packing standards and labelling requirements are followed.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of leather types, defects, and bag/wallet construction.
Understanding of stitching machines and production processes.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read measurement sheets and technical specifications.
Good communication and teamwork ability.

Educational Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Leather Technology, Footwear Technology, or related field
OR
Minimum 2–5 years practical experience in leather bags & wallets quality control.

2–5 years’ experience in inline QC or production quality in leather goods manufacturing.
