Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair or replace defective parts (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension)
- Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, battery replacement)
- Use computerized diagnostic tools and scanners
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper performance
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Support warranty repairs when required
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of engine systems and components
- Understanding of electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and service guides
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of hybrid and modern vehicle technology (preferred)
Qualifications
- ITI / DIPLOMA in Automobile Engineering or Automotive Technology
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license
