Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading engineering drawings, assembling fabricated components, fitting structural steel parts, and ensuring quality workmanship in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical specifications.
- Measure, cut, align, and fit steel components accurately.
- Assemble and install fabricated structures and equipment.
- Perform grinding, drilling, and fitting operations as required.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are maintained.
- Work closely with welders and fabrication supervisors during assembly.
- Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
- Inspect finished assemblies for defects and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in steel fabrication, PEB structures, warehouses, or industrial projects.
- Ability to read fabrication and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and workshop practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
