Job Summary
The Senior HR Head will be responsible for leading the overall Human Resources function and supporting factory operations to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient business performance. The role involves payroll management, labor relations, statutory compliance, policy formulation, workforce planning, productivity enhancement, employee engagement, grievance handling, and optimization of manpower and factory resources. The incumbent will act as a strategic business partner while ensuring seamless day-to-day factory operations.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead and manage the complete HR function across factory and corporate teams.
- Drive organizational development, succession planning, and talent management initiatives.
- Advise management on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
2. Payroll & Compensation Management
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees and workers.
- Ensure compliance with wage laws, overtime regulations, minimum wages, and salary structures.
- Manage compensation, benefits, incentives, bonuses, and annual salary reviews.
- Optimize manpower costs while maintaining employee productivity and engagement.
3. Labor Relations & Grievance Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for labor unions, worker representatives, and employees.
- Resolve employee and worker grievances promptly and effectively.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and prevent labor disputes.
- Represent the organization before labor authorities when required.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and statutory requirements including:
- Factories Act
- Industrial Relations Code
- PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus
- CLRA Act
- Shops & Establishment Act (where applicable)
- Other applicable labor and employment regulations
- Coordinate audits and inspections by government authorities.
5. HR Policies & Procedures
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and workplace guidelines.
- Ensure consistent policy implementation across all departments.
- Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, and employee well-being.
6. Factory Operations & Administration
- Oversee administrative and operational activities to ensure smooth factory functioning.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, compliance, finance, and maintenance teams.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability to meet production targets.
7. Workforce Optimization & Productivity
- Analyze manpower utilization and recommend improvements for cost optimization.
- Develop productivity enhancement initiatives and workforce efficiency programs.
- Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and labor productivity metrics.
- Support management in optimizing factory investments and resource allocation.
8. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead recruitment for staff, supervisors, managers, and factory workers.
- Establish talent acquisition strategies to meet business growth requirements.
- Design training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
9. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs.
- Foster a positive work environment and strong employer-employee relationships.
- Implement performance management and recognition programs.
10. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and present HR and operational MIS reports to management.
- Track key HR metrics including attrition, productivity, absenteeism, manpower cost, and compliance status.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, or related field.
- Additional certification in Labor Laws or Industrial Relations preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of experience in HR and Industrial Relations.
- Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role within an Export House, Garment Manufacturing, Textile, Apparel, or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience in factory HR, labor relations, payroll, compliance, and operational management.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
