Internal Audit Manager
Job Description
I. Core Responsibilities
1. Establishing the Internal Audit Framework for the India Entity: Lead the development of internal audit processes and standards tailored to the company’s business structure in India, focusing on the internal audit needs of subsidiaries and cross-border business lines, and collaborate with the Group to execute the annual internal audit plan.
2. Full‑Cycle Execution of Internal Audits in India: Oversee all aspects of internal audit activities within the Indian entity, with a particular emphasis on overseas compliance audits (including cross‑border compliance and adherence to local regulations), fraud risk assessments, operational efficiency audits, and internal control process reviews. Conduct in-depth risk identification across international operations, produce professional audit reports, drive corrective actions based on audit findings, and establish a closed-loop management system encompassing “audit–remediation–review–optimization.”
3. Compliance and Risk Management Support: Align internal audit standards with regional laws, policies, and industry norms in India, provide expert internal audit support to the Indian entity, mitigate cross‑border compliance risks, and ensure lawful, compliant, and efficient operation of overseas business activities.
II. Job Requirements (Strong Focus on International Business Internal Audit Experience)
1. Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or above in auditing, finance, law, business administration, or related fields, with a solid foundation in internal audit and financial management.
2. Language Proficiency: Native‑level English proficiency, enabling independent communication, evidence collection, report writing, and cross‑cultural collaboration in international business audits, as well as seamless coordination with domestic and international stakeholders.
3. Core Experience: At least 10 years of hands‑on experience in international business internal auditing within large multinational corporations or major manufacturing enterprises. Must have led overseas internal audit projects and established overseas internal audit frameworks, with a thorough understanding of internal audit management models for overseas subsidiaries and cross‑border compliance requirements.
4. Professional Certifications: Hold recognized professional credentials such as CIA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent, demonstrating strong theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in internal auditing methodologies.
5. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with international internal audit experience at one of the Big Four accounting firms are strongly preferred; those familiar with audit practices in regions such as the Middle East, Europe, India, Brazil, and other relevant markets will be given priority.
6. Comprehensive Competencies: Strong cross‑cultural communication and inter‑regional collaboration skills, excellent team leadership and professional coaching abilities, high stress tolerance, results‑oriented mindset, and the capacity to efficiently implement and deliver overseas internal audit initiatives.
7. Professional Ethics: Rigorous, honest, and highly responsible, upholding strict professional integrity and adhering to the principle of independence in internal auditing, thereby supporting the Group’s compliant and sustainable growth in international operations.
