PRIOR HOSPITAL EXPERICENCE PREFERRED
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Data Management: Collect, assemble, check, and file patient medical records in both digital and physical formats.
- Coding and Indexing: Use coding systems (e.g., ICD-10) to classify patient information for billing and insurance purposes.
- Confidentiality & Privacy: Ensure all patient information is secured and compliant with legal, ethical, and hospital privacy regulations.
- Retrieval & Coordination: Provide timely access to medical records for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and authorized personnel.
- Auditing and Quality Control: Review records for completeness and accuracy, following up on incomplete documentation.
- Medico-Legal Case Handling: Maintain records related to legal cases, birth, and death registration, providing necessary reports for government agencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management (HIM), Health Administration, or nursing is often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and data entry software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and health record laws.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to organize sensitive, complex data.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
