Job Responsibilities
- Operate and handle Ajax concrete mixer machines safely and efficiently at the construction site.
- Ensure proper mixing and pouring of concrete as per project requirements.
- Check the machine before starting work and report any faults or abnormalities.
- Carry out basic maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of the machine.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer and concrete team for concrete requirements.
- Monitor fuel, oil, and other machine operating conditions.
- Follow all site safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
- Maintain proper care of the machine and avoid unnecessary breakdowns.
- Record machine operating hours and report maintenance requirements.
- Ensure safe movement and operation of the mixer within the site.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as an Ajax Mixer Machine Operator in construction projects.
- Good knowledge of Ajax mixer operation and basic machine maintenance.
- Valid heavy vehicle/equipment operator licence, if applicable.
- Ability to work safely in a construction-site environment.
- Good understanding of basic safety procedures.
- Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
