Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring high service quality, customer satisfaction, and achievement of departmental targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day service workshop operations.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Department for smooth workflow.
- Ensure adherence to service quality standards and OEM guidelines.
- Handle customer concerns and support effective resolution of complaints.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and technician performance.
- Support the achievement of service revenue and profitability targets.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain service records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and workplace standards.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and motivating service team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automobile service operations.
- Prior supervisory or team-handling experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in workshop management systems and MS Office.
