Job Role
We are hiring a Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Geomagic Design (3D CAD). The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in product design, reverse engineering, and creating detailed manufacturing drawings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Geomagic Design.
- Work on product design, reverse engineering, and design optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design validation and improvements.
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturability, and quality requirements.
- Prepare BOMs and maintain design documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Design Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Geomagic Design (other CAD tools like SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD are a plus).
- Understanding of GD&T, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
- Familiarity with simulation/FEA tools.
- Exposure to PLM/PDM systems.
