Job Summary:
The Service Advisor is responsible for attending customers visiting the service center, understanding their vehicle concerns, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, ensuring timely service delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role acts as a bridge between customers and the workshop team.
Customer Handling
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.
- Inspect vehicles and record customer complaints accurately.
- Explain service processes, estimated costs, and delivery timelines.
- Obtain customer approval for additional repairs or replacements.
Service Coordination
- Prepare and maintain service job cards.
- Coordinate with technicians for diagnosis and repair work.
- Monitor service progress and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure proper documentation of repairs and service history.
Customer Communication
- Provide regular updates regarding service status.
- Inform customers about maintenance schedules and service packages.
- Address customer concerns and resolve complaints professionally.
- Conduct service follow-up calls after vehicle delivery.
Billing & Documentation
- Verify service jobs before billing.
- Coordinate with the billing team for invoice preparation.
- Maintain service records and customer databases.
- Ensure warranty and AMC-related documentation is completed correctly.
Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure excellent customer experience at every touchpoint.
- Maintain customer retention through quality service support.
- Achieve customer satisfaction and service-related targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in Automobile/EV Industry
Required Skills:
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of electric vehicles and service processes.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, DMS/CRM software).
- Problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
