We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Travel Consultant specializing in Travel Arrangements. Your role is to transform a client's vague travel dreams into a perfectly executed, bespoke global itinerary. You are the primary point of contact from the initial inquiry to the moment the traveler returns home, ensuring every private transfer, boutique hotel, and local experience is flawless.
Key Responsibilities1. Bespoke Itinerary Design
- Customization: Curate 100% personalized itineraries across global destinations (Europe, Americas, Asia, etc.) based on client preferences, budget, and pace.
- Product Knowledge: Stay ahead of global travel trends, "hidden gem" destinations, and the latest luxury hotel openings to provide expert recommendations.
- End-to-End Booking: Handle all components of the trip, including international/domestic flights, rail passes, private car rentals, and niche local tours.
2. Sales & Client Relationship Management
- Lead Conversion: Actively engage with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and walk-in clients to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Consultative Selling: Use your expertise to "up-sell" and "cross-sell" value-added services like premium insurance, VIP lounge access, or exclusive dining experiences.
- Retention: Maintain a database of client preferences to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty.
3. Operational Precision
- Documentation: Ensure all travel vouchers, visa requirements, and health protocols (if applicable) are accurately prepared and communicated.
- Concierge Support: Provide real-time assistance to clients while they are "on tour," resolving any last-minute changes or logistical hiccups across different time zones.
Required Skills & Experience
- Expertise: Minimum 3–7 years of experience specifically in designing travel packages.
- Geographical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of global geography, flight routes, and seasonal weather patterns.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) and Travel CRM software is essential.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English; the ability to write evocative, "story-driven" itineraries that sell a dream.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and remain calm when a private transfer is missed or a flight is delayed in a different time zone.
