Role Overview
10X International School, Mysuru is seeking an experienced IBDP University Counsellor to support students in their university and career planning journey. The role requires strong knowledge of the IBDP environment, university admissions processes, and student guidance practices, with a preference for candidates who can join immediately .
Key Responsibilities
- Guide IBDP students on university selection, applications, essays, deadlines, and admission requirements across domestic and international universities.
- Provide individualized career and higher education counselling aligned with student interests, academic profiles, and long-term goals.
- Support students and families through the university application cycle, including profile building, documentation, and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate student records, counselling notes, application trackers, and admission outcomes.
- Coordinate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to ensure effective academic and career planning support for students.
- Organize university fairs, information sessions, and outreach initiatives with universities and external partners.
- Stay updated on global university admission trends, scholarship opportunities, and IBDP-related application expectations.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in counselling, psychology, education, career guidance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in university counselling, preferably in an IBDP or international school setting .
- Strong understanding of undergraduate admissions processes for India and overseas destinations.
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and student engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and support multiple student applications simultaneously.
- Immediate availability or short joining timeline will be strongly preferred .
