Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR leader with strong experience in the hospital/healthcare sector to establish and lead the Human Resources function. This role will work closely with leadership to build scalable HR frameworks, drive workforce strategy, ensure statutory compliance, and nurture a high-performance, patient-centric culture during the organization’s growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Leadership Partnership
- Develop and execute HR strategy aligned with business and healthcare operational goals
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management
- Establish and continuously strengthen HR policies, governance, and best practices
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for clinical, non-clinical, and leadership roles
- Build talent pipelines and employer branding within the healthcare ecosystem
- Design structured onboarding and induction programs to enhance productivity
HR Operations & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and statutory requirements
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, attendance, performance, and exit management
- Manage payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HRIS processes
- Maintain HR documentation, audits, and regulatory readiness
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives
- Implement learning and development programs for clinical and support teams
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
- Foster a collaborative, ethical, and patient-first work environment
Performance & Organizational Development
- Implement performance management systems, KPIs, and succession planning
- Track HR metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement and decision-making
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 6–10+ years of progressive HR experience with mandatory hospital/healthcare exposure
- Proven expertise in recruitment, HR operations, employee relations, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices
